Sam Deuel's art is inspired by "Paleolithic" images round throughout the world. "Paleolithic" or "stone-age" art was man's earliest attempt at capturing his universe in paints and dyes. The work of these early artists can still be seen on the walls of caves and protected cliffs in France, Baja, South America, and Australia. After visiting some of these incredible places, Sam began re-interpreting the cave art in a series of modern work. He used specially created light-weight fiberglass panels and fountains that resemble the original cave rock. Sam has made it possible for contemporary collectors to acquire cave art for their own dwellings.
