Bill Freeman has art ingrained in his blood by way of his artistic parents. Bill has spent a great deal of his life in the outdoors, his love of nature is unbounded. Bill is very well known for his beautiful palette knife paintings as well as his replica pottery. He reproduces prehistoric Southwestern and Mexican pottery for museums around the country, including the Smithsonian. His reproductions are created from pieces in his personal collection as well as from those in private or museum collections. Bill shows amazing attention to detail. Each piece retains the unique features of the original artifact including chips, broken re-glued fragments, charring and paint loss. The work truly reflects the patina of objects that have been buried in the ground and dug up after hundreds of years.
